COMPLETION CHEMICALS
FRICTION REDUCERS
Chemical additives are often used to minimize friction between the fracking fluid and the wellbore, allowing for smoother and more efficient fluid flow. These additives can include slickwater friction reducers, which decrease the resistance encountered during fluid injection
Biocides are added to the fracking fluid to control bacterial growth that could potentially lead to equipment damage or clogging. Corrosion inhibitors help protect the wellbore and associated infrastructure from corrosive reactions with the fluids used during fracking.
CLAY STABILIZERS
Certain chemicals are employed to prevent the swelling or dispersion of clay particles present in the rock formations. By stabilizing the clay, the integrity of the fractures is maintained, preventing their closure and promoting sustained production.

OUR STORY
Chemron was founded in 2021 by Jonathan Kehrer, a Louisiana native with 20+ years of experience in the chemical industry. He represents the third generation of a family involved in the chemical industry. After attending Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge, Mr. Kehrer worked as an oil and gas production consultant in the Gulf of Mexico area working with onshore and offshore assets. He has an extensive background in research & development with formulating chemical products for drilling, completion, production and midstream operations. Mr. Kehrer has formulated products for multinational chemical companies such as Nalco-Ecolab, Clariant Oil Services & Baker Hughes.
